0600-1000:
- Woke up with an stuffed nose, but I had a nightmare of being on a falling aeroplane’s toilet while the plane was dropping, and the feeling of the flu still not over.
- Nothing much happened except I went to work.
1000-1400:
- Tried to search on Claude about authors I can read to improve my blogs.
- Recommended me some Peter theiel and James Clear blogs. He’s the person who wrote atomic habit.
1400-1800:
- Tiring day, I was bored at work as well.
- Could not think of anything to read or write, read some James Clear.
1800-2200:
- Came back home tired and not much done in terms of reading and writing, but spending the whole day working.
- Read one note by Peter Thiel, who is a prominent investor in silicon valley. He had some interesting topics written about american history and the attack on new york done in 2001.
- Few interesting things were on the note, which I was not aware of. I still am not able to fully read the note as there are references to American, european, roman, greek or christian history. I am not well read on American history, or foundation or any European, christian history. Still I got the gist from few paragraphs of his text, which was the West has an enemy, that does not fit into the framework of earlier western theorists of human nature or human X. The motif of the “enemies”, was not rooted in capital or competition, but on a religion, and afterlife. West lost its religion to focus on material nature of human and sold a dream of capitalism and what riches and power can do, but the “enemy” is not interested on those things or motivated by those things.
- A lot to disagree on those points he made, but I would not write anything here as that was written in 2007, which was 20 years ago. Also, I have not read the full script yet.
- For me, personally, I think the “enemy”, is still deeply related to the Power and Economics strata and material nature of human. I would not have part him different, neither would technically consider them exact “Enemies”, but as I do not know anything about either Foundation of West or the movement started by the Saudi Millionaire before I was even born, so I would shut silent.
- I assume his mind has probably changed a lot by now.
