AI has been so advanced and so much capable of coding, I am stunned by its ability. If I were to publish an obsidian webpage using quartz, nginx, vps configuration, https and all those, it would atleast take me 10 complete days(If I did not quit within 3 days of errors and crashes). I was able to easily set it up within 3 hours. And the amazing part was, I did not have to think about anything, just ask, copy and paste and all is set up. I was saving my notes on a couchdb instance on my vps server, which was also helped by ChatGPT to set it up. I was then able to access the couchdb from obsidian to enable live sync by making a custom plugin, which was also developed by ChatGPT itself, and I just asked it how to build it. It’s seriously powerful if you know what you’re doing. The future is AI assisted workforce, and even though I had been hearing the AI bubble will pop, I do not think that will be the case anytime soon. I did not have this thought about AI five months ago, which I do have. I was waiting for markets to crash, and people to not use AI at all, but that might not be the case coming years. If it can help me work so much faster and lets me create anything I want with few simple prompts, I wouldn’t be surprised if it takes jobs from people. AI being able to make a mediocre developer like me 10X more efficient and actually making able to do things I wanted to do would be a great example and case study for AI enthusiasts. The only limitations being the person using it should be able to understand what they are doing and what direction they want to head towards. I believe, the day is sooner when we will be able to build anything that we can imagine. If I could do these things, I would only assume how efficiently, cleverly and amazingly would the geniuses and crafters would use AI to create things that we thought was impossible. I can only imagine what the future hold.
